Presentation and comparison of two prominent concepts for ubiquitous data access in pervasive computing environments, the UbiData system by Helal et al. (University of Florida, USA), and the Personal Server concept promoted by INTEL Research.
Exercise course and tutorials for students as part the networked systems course (Vorlesung Vernetzte Systeme, Prof. Mattern).
Tutoring of seminar contribution: review and assessment of current technologies and standards for wireless communication with special focus on suitability for spontaneous networking and smallest ubiquitous devices.
